We started Nanonest Texas because we believe everyone deserves a place to call their own — a real home, with real quality, at a price that doesn't take a lifetime to reach. That belief drives everything we do, from the materials we choose to the people we serve.

We've seen firsthand what a home means to someone who needs one. When wildfires tore through Lahaina, Hawaii, we helped deploy over 300 modular units to families who had lost everything. Watching people walk through a door into a space that was warm, safe, and theirs — that moment never leaves you. It reminded us why we do this work.

Who's Behind Nanonest.

Nanonest Texas was co-founded by Khalid Halabi — a 24-year veteran of the global oil & gas industry who spent two decades at Chevron and BHP leading subsurface teams on multibillion-dollar capital projects. In 2017, he founded Amal Homes to apply that same discipline to residential construction in Houston and Austin.
