Who's Behind NanoNest.

NanoNest Texas was co-founded by Khalid Halabi — a 24-year veteran of the global oil & gas industry who spent two decades at Chevron and BHP leading subsurface teams on multibillion-dollar capital projects. In 2017, he founded Amal Homes to apply that same discipline to residential construction in Houston and Austin.

How much does a NanoNest modular cabin cost in Texas?

NanoNest units start at $65,000, fully built at the factory and delivered to your site in Texas. Site prep, crane, placement and utility hookups are separate; we’ll give you a written list before you order. Financing is available for qualified buyers.

Do I need a permit or foundation to place a NanoNest in Texas?

No expensive foundation is required. NanoNest cabins can be set on a basic concrete pad, piers, or level ground. Permit requirements vary by Texas county — rural counties are typically much more permissive than cities. Our team can walk you through the regulations for your specific property location.

How long does delivery and setup take?

Units are delivered 12–18 weeks from order confirmation. Each one ships fully finished, with every wall, fixture and appliance installed. Once your pad is ready and a crane is on site, setting a unit typically takes a day; then your contractor connects water and power. No framing crew and no weeks of on-site construction.
